ITPM 320 Cloud & Docker Fundamentals

This course introduces students to the security challenges of cloud computing and containerized environments. Topics include securing data, managing user permissions, monitoring network activity, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Students will explore techniques for securing applications and services across multiple cloud platforms and container environments. Best practices for encryption, access control, and vulnerability management will be discussed, with an emphasis on balancing security with performance in virtualized environments.
