DNTA 115 Chairside Skills

This course continues to build on providing instruction in advanced four-handed dentistry techniques. Content includes lecture and laboratory application of advanced chairside skills including dental dam, rotary instruments, dental anesthesia, matrix and wedge, and restorative tray setups.

1. Demonstrate correct placement of the dental dam
2. Describe the use of various types of anesthetic in dentistry
3. Properly load and transfer the anesthetic syringe
4. Identify various dental rotary instruments and burs

6. Set-up trays and materials for restorative dental procedures
