IMO 106 Food Manufacturing Technology

This course explores emerging technology techniques in the food industry and how they relate to preservation, packaging, and manufacturing. Apprentices will describe sorting, peeling, inspection, and sealing.  They explain different methods of boxing, sorting, palletizing and how they enhance the efficiency of food production. Apprentices also gain a deeper understanding of preservation by dehydration, and pasteurization, as well as understand the advantages of each of these methods. They will identify and describe various emerging technologies in the manufacturing process of foods.
