This course is an introduction to the articulation, tooth selection, and arrangement of denture teeth, Festooning through deflasking, selective grinding, and the fabrication of the students first complete denture.

  1. Arrange maxillary and mandibular anatomic teeth on a semi-adjustable articulator
  2. Festoon a denture
  3. Fill flask with denture base material, process, deflask, selective grinding, finish and polishing
  4. First Denture project
  5. Flask or invest a denture for processing
  6. Identify various tooth materials, shade, mold, and measurements
  7. Remove all wax from the mold using a "boil-out" procedure
