BUS 310 Business and Financial Acumen for IT Professionals

This course introduces students to basic business and financial concepts, providing an understanding of how IT initiatives impact an organization’s financial performance. Topics include budgeting, financial analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and resource allocation, including software cost estimation and resource planning for IT initiatives and software development projects, giving students insight into a variety of projects, all of which are vital for roles involving IT project management, governance, and leadership.
